Booking Questions

When can I stay?
You’re welcome to stay with us anytime from right after you give birth up until 12 weeks postpartum. We recommend coming directly from the hospital, but you have flexibility to start recovery with us whenever feels right for you.

How long can I stay?
Our minimum stay is three nights, but we recommend staying 5 to 7 days to really get the full benefit of our time. Longer stays, are also encouraged to make sure you are refreshed, relaxed, and prepared to take on motherhood on your terms.

Do you provide transportation options?
Certainly! We partner with local limosine services so you can get from discharge to check-in hastle-free. And yes, we provide the car seat.

What does a day at the Shoshana look like?
It’s up to you! We provide flexible, personalized care with no set schedule. Enjoy spa treatments, daily education classes, or simply relax with your newborn. Our Care Team offers hands-on baby and mother care, recovery support, meal service, sitz baths, and a 24/7 Baby Room, plus snacks and beverages always available.

What is your infant security policy?
All babies are banded, and their bands must be verified daily and during any transition between the guest room and baby room to match the mother or designated, banded support person. The baby room is monitored 24/7, and floor access is controlled, with keys provided only to guests and team members.

Can my partner stay with me?
Absolutely! One adult partner can stay with you. Whether it's your spouse or someone else who's important to you. This is your home, your support.

Are visitors allowed?
Yes, visitors are encouraged in your guest suite or the hotel’s common areas. We just ask that visitors avoid the mother’s lounge to keep that space peaceful for everyone.

What happens if I need to change my reservation?
We get it, birth plans are tricky and almost never occur ‘on-time’. We can’t always guarantee availability for last-minute date changes, but we’ll do everything we can to make it work—and we usually do! If your new dates aren’t available, we’ll work hard to find the next best option and get you accommodated as soon as possible.

IS MY STAY REFUNDABLE?
Health Concerns or Loss: If you experience health issues or, unfortunately, a miscarriage or loss, we’ll give you a full refund for your stay.

Canceling 30+ Days Before Check-In:
If you need to cancel more than 30 days before your stay, you’ll get a deposit refund, minus a $250 processing fee.

Canceling or Shortening the Stay Less Than 30 Days Before Check-In:
If you cancel or shorten your stay within 30 days of your check-in date, refunds aren’t available unless there’s a medical emergency.

Same-Day Cancellation or No-Show:
If you cancel the day you’re supposed to check in or don’t show up, you’ll be charged for the full reservation.

Once you’ve checked in, shortened stays are non-refundable unless there’s a medical emergency or another situation that management feels warrants a refund.

NICU Babies:
For moms with little ones in the NICU, we’ll work with you one-on-one. We recommend staying at The Shoshana for rest, recovery, and emotional support, along with guidance for pumping and other helpful resources.

Is there parking?
Yes, we offer valet parking through the hotel for $60/night. Just pull up, our valet team will take it from there so you can arrive stress-free.

What time is check-in and checkout?
Check-in is at 4 PM and checkout is at 12 PM. If you need a little extra time or a special arrangement, just let us know—we’ll make it happen!
